Across our existing porcelain paving range, the majority of our tiles are manufactured with an R11 anti-slip finish to combat accidental trips, slips and falls when frosty or wet weather conditions come into play.

However, one of the most unique advantages of the Sorano collection is the impressive R12 slip and skid resistance when wet. Sorano porcelain paving slabs actually perform better in wet conditions, which is a fantastic selling point if you are used to rainy or frosty weather.

This structural ability makes Sorano porcelain paving ideal for home and garden applications that may be more typically exposed to water, such as swimming pools, bathrooms, and wet rooms.

You will be happy to know that our porcelain paving slabs are extremely low maintenance. Only simple sweeping with a soft-bristle brush is required to eradicate any accumulated dirt and for more stubborn marks, wipe over with a damp cloth.

One of the best things about porcelain paving is the high durability. The vitrification process our porcelain products undergo makes each porcelain tile solid and long-lasting. This means that even drastic changes in weather won’t affect the quality or look of the paving.

As well as being resistant to weather changes, porcelain paving is also durable in many other ways. It is stain, scratch, mould, frost, acid, alkali, algae and moss resistant too.
